Christmas in July!!!

I am happy to announce some big changes that happened in my world since last Christmas!

I was so busy during the fall last year planning my wedding that some of you may not have realized that my personal Facebook page changed from Jessica Preston to Jessica Brown. So, not only did I become a wife and gain a husband - but I also gained grown step-children and a step-granddaughter! Then, the beginning of this year --- both of my nephews had their first child. Yes, both of them! A boy and a girl. Born 12 days apart - so I am loving the fact that we have all these babies in our family! It sure will make Christmas fun this year!

Now ----- let's talk Ornaments

It's a great time to start thinking about your orders for Christmas this year! It's an even better time to go ahead and get your order in! This year I am starting in July - my break is almost over. I am starting earlier this year in hopes that I am able to enjoy some of the holiday season, myself. Don't panic - I will take orders as long as I can. So, if you don't have an order to place today or tomorrow - that is okay! But, if you are thinking about ordering, it's a good time to start thinking about what you might want. Plus, who wants to wait until last minute and be stressed out for that little, personalized gift to give?! Also --- if you are ordering several - why not start ordering and getting them done now, so that you don't have to pay for them all at once.

Every year I have people who say to me "Oh no, I need an ornament for ______________ "(fill in the blank) You are not alone! We all do it. Things slip our minds, especially around the holidays! We worry about gifts, money, the tree, wrapping paper, food, family, friends, traveling, etc. There is always so much to think about for those of us who love and celebrate Christmas. So here's just a small tip: Sit down and make a list of those who you would like to buy for this year. If you are looking for a small, reasonably priced, personalized gift --- look no further! Then simply send me an email (jessicapreston1207@gmail.com), text me (240-217-5058 …. this is the easiest and quickest way to contact me) or send me a message on Facebook.(Either at Jessica Brown or Ornaments by Jessica) I will add your order to my list and get started on them for you. Just a suggestion - for me, I know that finances get during the holidays - so I would much rather spend $10.00 or $20.00 a week instead of $100.00 at one time. Or - I would rather start getting gifts now and start checking people off my list. There is always that someone that we don't think about (not because they aren't important) until last minute. Our hairdresser, our mailman, our clients, our child's teacher, our real estate agent, our favorite waitress at our favorite restaurant, our favorite teller at the bank, etc. An inexpensive gift that is personalized just for them will make their holidays!
